St Jacob"s Church in Sandomierz

The St Jacob"s Church is one of the oldest and the most valuable monuments of both Sandomierz and Poland. The visitor"s attention is caught by the late-Romanesque ceramic ornamental elements of elevation, from which the northern portal is of the greatest importance.

St Joseph Collegiate Church in Klimontów

It is one of the most original and beautiful buildings erected on an elliptic plan according to an Italian architect Lawrence Senes’s design referring to the architecture of Santa Maria della Salute church in Venice.

St Martin the Bishop"s Parish Church in Opatów

One of the most spectacular examples of Romanesque architecture in Poland, St Martin"s Church was erected on the Latin cross pattern with the use of locally extracted flint sandstone in the 12th century. Its front is dominated by two differently shaped towers.

The former monastery of the Order of Saint Paul the First Hermit in Pińczów

The former monastery of the Order of Saint Paul the First Hermit was built thanks to Zbigniew Oleśnicki, a bishop of Cracow. After the original Gothic church foundation, Oleśnicki rebuilt western porch with a Gothic cross-ribbed vault.
