Europe"s only timber church with rococo interiors and one of Poland"s most beautiful sacral monuments of wooden architecture. Erected most probably in the mid-18th century, it was founded by priest Maciej Józef Count Łubieński, owner of estates near Mnichów. The church was constructed of larch-tree wood, but majority of its interior elements such as pulpit, baptismal font and confessional were made pf lime-tree wood. Central position in the splendid rococo high alter is occupied by the picture of Our Lady with the Divine Infant Jesus surrounded by SS Stephen, Mathew, Gregory and Augustine. An octagonal wooden belfry adjacent to the church contains a cross and bells from the 18th century.
