  • Description

The international travels of John Paul II are now legendary and similarly, so are the cars he used during them. During a trip to Poland, the Guest asked for a car that was produced in our country. That is why, just for him, Star 660 M2 was constructed and since then it has got its own museum.

In the museum you can see the car, made of original parts, that John Paul II travelled across the country during his first pilgrimage to Poland in 1979. The car was constructed from parts that were found in full technical compliance with the original After the pope’s visit, it was decided by communist authorities that it should be disassembled and then the parts should be destroyed or put into other cars.

Between 2006 and 2011, the owner of a company AUTO-ADAMCZAK reconstructed the car from the parts that were found. Thanks to his initiative, the unique miracle of Polish automotive industry was recreated.
