Description
The Cross Marathon is an event not only for experienced runners, as the organisers" time limit in which to cover 42km and 195m is seven hours. Those who are worried about the long distance can participate in a 14km run/walk. Both the marathon and run/walk participants start from and finish at Sielpia near Końskie. The Cross Marathon covers the Sielpia – Piekło (Polish: Hell) – Niebo (Polish: Heaven) – Sielpia loop route three times. It is very picturesque, cutting across woodland, with occasional hills. The surface is mostly natural, partly metalled, but mainly woodland roads and tracks.
