Medieval Chęciny

The event begins with a High Mass said in the Church of St. Bartholomew the Apostle, with the royal court and knights. After the Mass a colourful procession sets out from the church. The market square in Chęciny hosts concerts of various artistic groups and on the areas adjacent to the castle you can watch historical stagings by local reconstructive groups. The event is accompanied by a kermis, knight fighting and juggling shows, as well as various workshops, for instance weaving, archery, pottery. The event ends in the evening with a concert given by an invited star.
