The Neolithic settlement in Kopiec takes visitors 5,500 years back in time to an amazing Neolithic settlement, where they can see the lives of its inhabitants, their customs and everyday life.
In addition, there are also animals on the premises. Thanks to the presentation of stone tool making, pottery, weaving, fishing and hunting techniques, visitors can learn about the methods of obtaining and storing food and the everyday life of Neolithic settlers.
In the facility, tourists will find huts of the Funnel Beaker culture, which was present in Europe between 3700 and 1900 BC, recreated with great care. However, this will not be an ordinary open-air museum, because each visitor will have the opportunity to travel back in time and make a pot, shoot a bow, or catch a fish using methods known in the Stone Age! The creators of the settlement want tourists to feel free to touch the exhibits and participate in the life of the settlement, even if only for a moment.
All activities, such as repairs, construction of new buildings, or tool making, will take place in front of visitors, and even with their participation. The village also has a Neolithic mini zoo, where you can see animals bred 3,500 years before Christ and those hunted by hunters of that time.
