The Museum of Minerals and Fossils is located at the foot of Łysica - the highest peak of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. It is a private collection which came into existence thanks to the owners’ collector’s streak.
One may see there the largest rock crystal in Poland, minerals from all parts of the world, ammonites, trilobites, a quartz crystal weighing 100 kilos and other remains of life from millions of years. The Museum is situated in the building of the former bakery, by the Baba Jaga Restaurant, around 400 metres to the north from the entrance to the Świętokrzyski National Park.
