Ponidzie is a beautiful land full of white sculptures of saints among fields and meadows blooming in nature reserves. Such a land must have its own museum, which presents its turbulent history from the ancient Celts inhabiting the fertile Nida river basin, through powerful families of dissenters, to writers praising these beautiful areas.

Currently, the museum occupies part of the western, northern and eastern wings of the ground floor with access to the Gothic cellars of the original Pauline monastery.

The museum's collections come from Ponidzie and document the traditions, history and culture of the region from the earliest times to the present day. The most important sections:
Pińczów Castle. A computer visualisation by Mateusz Staniszew, a resident of Pińczów, showing the appearance of the Pińczów Castle Complex in its heyday.
Pińczów – history of the town. The exhibition presents the history of the town and the region. We present objects closely related to the beginnings of Pińczów (including a copy of the document granting town rights to Pińczów in 1428), through the Reformation (reprints of the Brest Bible), an arrangement depicting 18th-century palace decor, ending with 19th- and 20th-century official documents.
Dygasiński – a man from Ponidzie. The exhibition presents the largest single archival collection in Poland concerning the life and work of Adolf Dygasiński, known as the "Bard of Ponidzie" (photographs, manuscripts, memorabilia). In addition, referring to Dygasiński's works, the museum has prepared an ethnographic exhibition where you can see the interior of a 19th-century cottage with everyday objects.
Judaica. The museum presents a collection of Judaica related to the history and culture of the Jews of Pińczów. Among the most interesting exhibits are a fragment of the Pińczów Torah and a Star of David armband from World War II found in one of Pińczów's tenement houses.
Prehistory of Ponidzie. The exhibition features grave and utility ceramics, flint, bronze and iron objects, and coins from excavations in Pińczów and the Ponidzie region in general.
