The museum is housed in a 19th-century neoclassical palace, designed by architect Leandro Marconi, located in a historic park covering an area of 2.6 hectares.

"Collection of silver and silver-plated tableware from the 19th and 20th centuries."
The museum's collection includes: bladed weapons and firearms, Polish and foreign medals and medallions from the 18th to the 20th century, coin treasures: Roman coins from Chmielów and Nietulisko, photographs of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski from the 19th and 20th centuries, photographs of historic buildings in the Kielce region, metalware: platters, sugar bowls, cake and fruit baskets, candlesticks, lamps. Judaica includes Hanukkah lamps, Kiddush glasses and cups.
